ONLINE THERAPY COUNSELLING SESSIONS WITH A CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST AVAILABLE NOW - GET IN TOUCH
Hello. I am Tina, clinical psychologist and director of TherapySense.
I am registered with Health & Care Professions Council. See my registration here.
I have a specialist interest in working with trauma (including PTSD, developmental and intergenerational trauma). I am also culturally sensitive, which means I take into account and explore issues around race, ethnicity and culture.
If you want to work with a Psychologist that is professional, kind and above all human, you have come to the right place.
If you work with me I will be particularly interested in hearing your story. What I listen for is how the events in your life have shaped you. I aim to help you to make sense of issues that you have faced and we work together to help you manage the issues you are facing.
I use a number of different psychological models to inform my practice which include; Cognitive Behavioural, Compassion Focused, Attachment, Psychodynamic, Systemic and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I am passionate about empowerment when we need it the most. Painful emotions are so difficult to share and often difficult for people to understand.
As a clinical psychologist, I want to provide you a space to think about you and your world, no matter how difficult it may feel.

Hello, I am Sandra Locke and I am the Business Administrator for TherapySense.
Finally, I have found a job that I love, and that I am passionate about. It plays to my strengths as an Administrator and my interest in psychology, mental health and emotional awareness. Having worked at Mondelez (formerly Cadbury) as a Personal Assistant to various Directors for over 15 years I felt it was time to leave and look for a new opportunity and challenge.
I have an interest in anxiety and how it can have a huge impact on our everyday lives. Having suffered with Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Health Anxiety I have real empathy for anyone that is experiencing it. I had serious and prolonged panic attacks over several years and was prescribed a medication which was not for me. Eventually I had Cognitive Behaviour Therapy which helped me understand what was happening to me and enabled me to manage the attacks. I rarely suffer from panic attacks anymore.
I am also very interested in children and teenage anxiety and how we, as parents can help, listen and support our children to enable them to manage their feelings and emotions.
Outside of work I am kept very busy with my husband and 2 boys who are football mad so most of my time is spent watching and playing football and taking them to parties. When I do have free time then I enjoy running at the local gym, socialising and reading.
I will be your port of call for enquiries, bookings and questions. Contact me if you have any questions.
We aim to be transparent with our fees. So you know where we stand. No grey areas here.
During this call we aim to gather an understanding of your issues, it’s also a chance for you to get to know us too. You can decide if you feel we are right for you and if not that’s okay. We may be able to offer alternative support services too.
